Nezu Museum 根津博物館

On Sunday afternoon I went with my friend Mimi to the Nezu Museum to see the current exhibition, Lofty Elegance: Ink Painting from Medieval Japan. The exhibition was beautiful, and was a great opportunity to see a critical mass of 14th-16th century painting in one place. The grounds of the museum were also lovely, and a nice way to relax on a beautiful early autumn day.

After a few hours at the museum, we walked around Aoyama, Omotesando, and Harajuku, where we saw this incredibly stylish dog, some very stylish people, and many lovely shops.

We also indulged in some fantastic Harajuku crepes after dinner, a perfect ending to a great day.
